All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: May 28, 1964 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Calvin Native Is Buried May 23 At Sanders Chapel The body of Mrs. Henry Clark, 55, was recovered shortly after 6 a.m. May 22 from a deep well behind the Clark home in Hodge by the Jackson Parish Rescue Squad and neighbors of the family. Mrs. Clark, a native of Calvin, who had been in ill health for several years, apparently took her own life sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, according to Jackson Parish coroner Dr. John Robinson. Last rites were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro, with burial following in Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Calvin. Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband; two sons, Edgar Clark of Baton Rouge and Harold Clark of Shreveport; a daugther, Mrs. Faye Adcock of Jonesboro; her mother, Mrs. Ella Drummond of Hodge and four grandchildren.
