All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: October 5, 1967 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Mrs. Nellie Cloud of Laurel Heights Dies At Residence Mrs. Nellie Cloud, 55, of 1101 South Street, died about 4 p.m. Tuesday of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Mrs. Cloud had been in ill health for several months. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church, Rev. C. C. Martin and Rev. W. E. Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Transport Cemetery near Dodson under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. The body will lie in state at the family residence until service time. Mrs. Cloud is survived by her husband, Lee, of Winnfield; two sons, J. G. Cloud of Lansing, Mich., and George T. Cloud of Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. Margie Davis of Shreveport; one brother, Crawford Kennedy of Reserve, N. Mex.; three half-brothers, William Green, Springhill, George Green, of Monroe, and G. T. Kennedy of Quitman. Also two half-sisters, Mrs. Emmie Langley of Dry Prong and Mrs. Lizzie Davis of Pollock and one grandchild survive.
