Funeral Rites For Mrs. Berdie Mae Clark Aug. 16

Funeral services for Mrs. Berdie Mae Clark, 48, of Winnfield, who died Friday
in a local nursing home following a lengthy illness, were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Christie officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. P. W. Smith, Sikes; two brothers, J. D.
McCartney, Long Grove, Ill., and G. M. "Pete" McCartney, Tullos, Star Route;
and one sister, Mrs. A. E. Hartiens, Lafayette.

Pallbearers were C. A. McCartney, Jerry Rushton, Andy Hartiens, J. I.
Cockerham, Grafton Cupid, Bobby Jordan, and James Carter.
