All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: December 19, 1946 Winn Parish Enterprise Mrs. Jennie Clark, of Dodson, Buried Here Thursday Mrs. Jennie Rudolph Clark, 78, of Dodson, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 a.m. in an Alexandria hospital. She has been in ill health for several years. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dodson Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Lantrip, assisted by the Baptist minister, conducting the last rites. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mrs. Clark, with her husband, J. T. Clark, and their daughters, moved to Dodson in 1921 from Wickliffe, Kentucky. She was born and reared in Wickliffe and was married there. After her husband retired from his job with the railroad, they continued living in Dodson. She was a member of the Dodson Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, J. T. Clark; four daughters, Mrs. G. H. Biggs and Mrs. E. D. Wilkins of Dodson; Mrs. R. E. Poole and Mrs. Jimmie Jenkins of Winnfield; six grandchildren, Mrs. O. O. Nash, Jr. and Thomas Roddie Poole of Winnfield; Mrs. Billie Pruitt, Edgar Wilkins, Jr., and James Clark Wilkins of Dodson, and Guarwin Biggs, Jr., of Jackson, Miss.; one great granddaughter, Peggie Nash of Winnfield and two sisters who reside in Kentucky. Pallbearers were her sons in law, E. D. Wilkins, Jimmie Jenkins, R. E. Poole, G. H. Biggs, and grandsons, Guarwin Biggs, Thomas Poole, and O. O. Nash, Jr. Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral included a niece and nephew, Mrs. Dempsey Crowder and Joseph Frazier of Pine Bluff, Ark., a brother in law, H. J. Clark and Mrs. Clark of El Dorado, Ark.; Mrs. Dottie Emmons of Shreveport, Mrs. H. Pruitt of Tallulah, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lenig and son, Joe, of Ruston, La.
