Funeral Rites For Bill Coates Held At Hebron

Bill Coates, 64, of Olla, died Sunday morning, March 12, 1972, at his
residence of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the Hebron Baptist Church
near Sikes.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Crain Coates of Olla; one daughter, Peggy
Brown of Morgan City; one son, Harold Coates of Alexandria; two brothers, J.
P. Coates of Rusk, Texas, and Jack Coates of Grayson; three sisters, Mrs.
Claudia Gough of Kelly, Mrs. Maggie McMullin of Grayson, and Mrs. Mattie
Richardson of Monroe; and five grandchildren.
