H. Cockerham, Former Winn Resident, Dies

Henry Cockerham of Teague, Texas, a former resident of Ward Four, died
Saturday night, August 7, 1971, at the age of 72.  Mr. Cockerham died of a
heart attack in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Chandler of Calvin.

Funeral services for Mr. Cockerham were held Monday, August 9, 1971, at the
Teague Baptist Church of Teague, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Caskey Cockerham, three sons, Elzie and
Kenneth of Teague, Charles Bruce of Palestine, Texas, one daughter, Mrs. Eva
Faye Flanders of Teague, Texas, 14 grandchildren, and five great
grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Bula Postell of Ringgold, Mrs. Eva Crane of
California, one brother, Willie Cockerham of Teague, Texas, and a host of
friends and other relatives.

Attending the funeral from Winn Parish were Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Chandler,
Edward and Chester Chandler, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Poisso, Mrs. Wiley Jones and
Deward Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Caskey, Mrs. Corrine Jordan, Mr. and Mrs.
Jesse Green, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Chandler, and son, Mr. and _______________
