Mrs. Cockfield Dies; Funeral Held At Verda

Mrs. Eunice Dale Cockfield, 80, of Verda, died at 7 a.m. Friday, November 21,
1969, in a Winnfield nursing home.  

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rudy Doris Washburn of Verda and Mrs.
Eloise Placko of Irvington, J. J.; one sister, Mrs. Norma Gentry of Verda;
five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Verda Baptist Church with
Rev. Gerald Paige officiating.  Burial was in the Verda Cemetery under
direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Winnfield.
