Funeral Rites For Harvey L. Cockerham Thur.

Harvey Lee Cockerham, 53, 1203 East Lafayette, died suddenly apparently from a
heart attack Tuesday, December 26, 1967 while working at the rock quarry.

Mr. Cockerham was a veteran of World War II, a native of Winn Parish, a deacon
and active member of the South Winnfield Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern Funeral
Home with Rev. Willie M. James and Rev. D. L. Callendar officiating.  Burial
will be in the Union Cemetery near Joyce.

Mr. Cockerham is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bernice Cockerham, Winnfield; one
brother, Henry Cockerham of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Callie Massey,
Winnfield, Mrs. J. D. Meador, Winnfield, and Mrs. V. O. Harrison, Sharon, Pa.

Pallbearers will be Roy Wagoner, Ed Poole, Willie Frederick, A. L. Shirley,
Earl Frederick, and Ferrell Jarnagin.
