Ibzan Cockerham Paralytic Stroke Victim Wednesday

Served As Janitor At Court House For Past Four Years

Suffering from two paralytic strokes, one ten days ago and the second Tuesday
of this week, Ibzan Cockerham, janitor at the court house here died at his
home about five miles east of town Wednesday afternoon.

Funeral services were held Thursday, afternoon conducted by Rev. W. E.
Sherwood, pastor of Union Baptist Church of which the deceased is a member.
Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Cockerham is survived by ten children, his wife having died six years ago.
There of his children are married, Mrs. Homer Bartley and Albert Cockerham,
Joyce, and Alfred Cockerhm, Gorhamtown.
