Last Rites Held For Mrs. Martha Cockerham Here

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. October 11 at the Old Union Baptist
Church for Mrs. Martha Jane Cockerham, 78, of Winnfield.  Mrs. Cockerham died
Sunday in Winnsboro.

The Rev. W. H. Mott officiated at the rites and burial was in the Old Union
Cemetery.

Mrs. Cockerham, a life long resident of Winn Parish, is survived by two sons,
Claude Cockerham of Houston, Texas, and Clill Cockerham of Denver, Colo.;
three daughters, Mrs. Jack Miller, Mrs. Paul Barton, both of Winnfield, and
Mrs. John Gilcrease of Alexandria; three brothers, Alec Roberts of Magnolia,
Ark., Tom Roberts of Alexandria, and G. H. Roberts of Winnfield; and one
sister, Mrs. Nancy Parker of Mobile, Ala.
