Cogley, 66, Dies at Home Here Tuesday 8:30 P.M. H. P. Cogley, age 66, died at his home here Tuesday evening at 8:30 o'clock following a lengthy illness. The deceased was born in Finley, Oklahoma. He is a veteran of World War I, serving 13 years with rating of Sergeant of Quartermaster Corps. After coming to Winnfield Mr. Cogley was first employed as fireman on the C. R. I. & P. railroad and laterd joined the American Creosote Works, Inc. group, where he remained 25 years. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but it was announced that burial will be in the National Cemetery in Pineville, La. Pallbearers well be George Bemont, Troy Lee Frederick, J. B. Coon, A. J. Richardson, H. C. McLeod, and Richard Gilcrease. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Cogley, a daughter, Mrs. Alice Guy of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Ronald Allen Guy, Houston, Texas and Herbert Davis Cogley, Brusett, Mont.
