Mrs. S. Cogley Dies; Rites At New Jerusalem

Mrs. Stella T. Cogley, 83, died Monday, March 11, 1968 in a Winnfield hospital
after a lengthy illness.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.  The
Rev. C. W. Jones officiated, assisted by the Rev. Homer Ivy.  Burial was in
the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

She was a native of Illinois.

Survivors are a son, H. A. Cogley of Jeanerette; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys
Bishop of Winnfield and Mrs. Edith Foster of Monroe; five grandchildren, nine
great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
