No details of his death were given. He had been working there for the past one and a half years and his sister, Lucy Lenora Cockerham, was also making her home there. Funeral arrangements will be made after arrival of the remains at his home at Dodson. Besides his parents, the youth is survived by seven sisters, Lucy Leona, of Oregon; Mrs. Mattie Johns and Mrs. Nancy Harkins, Jonesboro; Mrs. Louise Hennigan, Ft. Bragg, N. C.; Hannah, Wana Mae, and Alma Cockerham, and one brother, John Burton Cockerham, all of Dodson. No. 2 Funeral of Ben Cockerham To Be Held Friday Funeral services for Ben Cockerham, 26, who was killed accidentally at Cave Junction, Oregon, last week, will be held at the Old Union Church, near Joyce Friday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m. under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. The deceased is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cockerham of Ward Four, Winn Parish.
