Winnfield Resident Dies at Advance Age Last Thursday

Mrs. Nancy Isabelle DeLoach Cockerham, widow of the late David Cockerham died
at her home in Gorhamtown last Thursday, November 29.  Mrs. Cockerham was a
native of Winn Parish, having been born in the Beech Creek community in 1856,
making her age 78 years at the time of her death.

Interment was at Union Cemetery, November 30 with the Rev. Will Grice in
charge.  She is survived by the following sons, Ira of Gorhamtown, Ed of
Crain, Texas; Jim of Coushatta, and Walter of Danville, La.
