Rev. George L. Parks, Natchitoches Christian Church minister, conducted the services. Mrs. Cole was born in Arcadia, La., and lived in Winnfield several years during her girlhood. Forty years ago, after her marriage to C. B. Cole of this city, she made Winnfield her permanent home. She was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving Mrs. Cole are her husband, C. B. Cole, of Winnfield; three sons, Ira B. Cole, Fred Cole, and John Richard Cole, all of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Crooks of Trout, La., and Mrs. Alliene Melancon, of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Philar of Shreveport and Mrs. Beatrice Berlin of Marksville, La.; and five grandchildren.
