F. Collier Thursday, 3 P.M. Mrs. Annie Ferguson Collier, 84, lifelong resident of Atlanta, died in the local hospital at 3 p.m. Wednesday. She was the mother of Winn Parish Assessor Ashton Collier, and was the widow of the late M. F. Collier, prominent in Winn Parish affairs. The body will be at Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, until noon Thursday, April 30, when it will be carried to the Atlanta Methodist Church where final rites will be conducted at 3 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dell Durand of Hodge, former pastor, Rev. Ray Teal, and Rev. Oliver Thomas. Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery. Mrs. Collier was active in the work of the Atlanta Methodist Church and the Home Demonstration Club. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Ferguson, early settlers of Atlanta. Besides her son, Ashton Collier, she leaves another son, Alton Collier of Crowville; two brothers, E. Gus Ferguson and C. C. Ferguson, and a sister, Mrs. J. M. Neal, all of Atlanta; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
