John Porter Collins Reported Missing

John Porter Collins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grady M. Collins of Minden, was among
those seamen reported missing, according to the Navy Department's casualty
list number five, released Tuesday.

Grady M. Collins, father of the missing seaman, is a native of Winn Parish and
the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. A. P. Collins.  Young Collins was chief
machinist's mate in the U. S. Navy.
