Luther Collins, 74, Succumbs; Burial At Bethel

Luther Collins, 74, of Dry Prong, died Wednesday, January 9, 1974.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Lillian (Leland?) Briggs officiating.  Burial was in the
Bethel Cemetery in Dry Prong.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Thelma Collins of Dry Prong; a son, L. C.
Collins of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jean Johnson of
Dry Prong, Mrs. Katherine Sikes of Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Ruby Reed of Germany,
and Mrs. Lucille Gorum of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Silas Collins of
Houston, Texas and Lee Collins of Dry Prong; a sister, Mrs. Alice Turner of
Dry Prong; 10 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
