Last Rites Held For Mrs. Collier At Sardis Aug. 1

Funeral services for "Aunt" Pannah Rice Collier, 81, Winn native, who died in
Columbia July 31, were held Friday, August 1, at 2 p.m., at the Sardis Baptist
Church.  Officiating was Rev. E. B. Barton.  Burial was in the Brown Cemetery.

Acting as pallbearers were nephews: T. J. Rice, Lorey Rice, Voyde Rice, Alvin
and Pressley Philen, and Billie W. Sparks.

Mrs. Collier had been a member of the Sardis Baptist Church for 68 years.  She
is survived by one son, J. C. Collier of Newton, Texas; one stepdaughter, Mrs.
Girty Burch, Pollock; a number of nieces and nephews and 10 grandchildren.
