Funeral Rites For O. Collier Held Sunday

Funeral services for Owen Collier, 26, of Colfax, were held Sunday afternoon
at Mt. Zion.

Several years ago Mr. Collier received a broken back while working at a
sawmill.  Since that time he has been confined to a wheel chair but has
operated a successful grocery store and filling station in Colfax.

A few days before his death, he became ill and was rushed to a Shreveport
sanitarium where he died Saturday.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. C. Collier, of Colfax; one
brother, Mr. Reginald Collier; one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Howard of Shreveport.
