L. Colvin, Local Pharmacist, Dies In Houston Richard Lee Colvin, 33, of Winnfield, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 1969 in St. Luke's Hospital at Houston, Texas, after a brief illness. He was a pharmacist and a native of Taylor, Ark. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church in Winnfield with Rev. Thomas Cox officiating. The body was transported to his parents home in Taylor, Ark. Funeral services were held there at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial was in Forest Grove Cemetery at Taylor under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors are his wife, Wilmadeen Colvin of Winnfield; a daughter, Lisa Renee Colvin of Winnfield; a brother, Thurston Colvin of Minden; four sisters, Mrs. Elvis Bernard and Alva Null, both of Springhill, Mrs. Kermit Caswell of Hampton, Ark., and Mrs. Harold Tyler of Homer; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Colvin of Taylor, Ark. Pallbearers were Jerry Fullerton, Tommy Straughan, Joe Dosher, Dennis Shell, Tommy Bankston, and Dr. Billy Floyd.
