She was the widow of the late C. S. Colvin of Winnfield and made her home in an apartment at the residence of Mrs. Addie Johnson. A native of Dubach, Mrs. Colvin had resided in Winnfield since 1908. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sardis Baptist Church with the Rev. E. B. Barton officiating. Assisting were the Rev. Earnest Evans and the Rev. Fred Brown. Burial was in the church cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Charles Silman, Raymond, Bobby Frantom, Nathan Redman, and Johnny Silman, grandsons, and Billy Mouliere, grandson in law. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Silman, Odessa, Texas, and Mrs. Ralph Redman, Houston, Texas; two brothers, H. W. Brooks, El Dorado, Ark., A. L. Brooks, Camden, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. D. F. Garlington, Evansville, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
