Stanley C. Colvin, Former Winn Resident, Dies

Stanley C. Colvin, 42, of 2446 Midway St., Alexandria, died at 9:10 p.m.
Thursday May 23, 1968, at his home.

He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, owner of Colvin Appliance Co., a
Navy veteran of World War II, and a native of Winnfield.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Louise Brown Colvin of Alexandria; one son,
Stanley C. Colvin of Alexandria; one brother, W. C. Colvin, Jr., of Ferriday;
three sisters, Mrs. J. S. Beville of Lovington, N. M., Mrs. H. A. Finn of
Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Harry Von Einem of Shreveport.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Parkview Baptist Church with
Rev. Thurston Brice officiating.  Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park under
the direction of Hixson Brothers.
