Last Rites For Mrs. J. E. Connor To Be Held Friday

Last rites for Mrs. J. E. Connor, 63, who died in a local hospital June 14,
1951, at 6:15 a.m. following a stroke which she suffered last week, will be
held Friday at 3:30 p.m., in the Laurel Heights Latter Day Saints Church. 
Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral
Home.

Mrs. Connor, who had spent most of her life in Winnfield, was a native of
Alabama.  Her mother, Mrs. M. F. Hamm, preceded her in death by several
months.  She was a member of the Laurel Heights Latter Day Saints Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jim Alexander, Winnfield; and Mrs. B. F.
Taylor, Route 1, Winnfield; four sons, Gilbert, Marlin, and Melvin Connor of
Route 1, Winnfield; and Velvert Connor of Salt Lake City, Utah.

She also leaves two brothers, Carl and Milford Lawrence of Winnfield, and one
sister, Mrs. Orpha Speed of Route 1, Winnfield.
