K. Connor Succumbs After Lengthy Illness Mrs. O. K. Connor, 58, of Laurel Heights, died in a Winnfield hospital Tuesday night after a long illness. She was a native of Calhoun, Louisiana, the former Gladys Beck, but had spent most of her lifetime in Winnfield, where she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Acting as pallbearers were Clarence Price, Ottis Paul, Harvey Rhymes, Bob Skains, Robert Howell, and Bill Gordon. Surviving are her husband, O. K. Connor of Winnfield; one son, Lester Connor of Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. V. G. New of Lafayette and Mrs. James Machen of Winnfield; two brothers, J. L. and W. J. Beck, both of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. J. C. Allbritton of Houston, Texas, and nine grandchildren.
