Mrs. A. Connor, Sr., Succumbs; Rites Thursday

Mrs. A. B. Connor, 78, of Winnfield, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 18,
1970, in the Winnfield General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

A native of Winn Parish, she was a member of the Urania Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Southern
Funeral Home, Winnfield, with the Rev. David Mayo officiating.  Burial will
be in the Winnfield City Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, A. B. Connor, Sr.; two sons, Morris O. Connor
of Winnfield and A. B. Connor of Urania; three daughters, Mrs. Hovey Harrell
of Winnfield, Mrs. Paul Bullion of Alexandria,, and Mrs. Don Desadier of
Clarence; one brother, Eric Bonnette of Winnfield; 20 grandchildren, and 22
great grandchildren.

Grandsons of the deceased will be pallbearers.
