George Conn, 86, Succumbs; Rites At New Hope

Funeral services for George Mason Conn, 86, were held at 1 p.m. Monday in the
New Hope Methodist Church near Dodson with the Rev. Alson Jeter officiating,
assisted by the Rev. W. R. Aikens and the Rev. Durand.

Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral
Home of Jonesboro.

Mr. Conn died Saturday, February 18, 1967, in a Jonesboro hospital after a
long illness.  He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Alta Huckaby of Hodge, Mrs. Grace Johns
of Jonesboro, Mrs. Greeley Stewart of Dodson, and Mrs. Oline Protho of
Shreveport; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
