Miss Lena Conn Dies in Baptist Hospital, May 26

Funeral services for Miss Lena Conn, 45, who died in the Baptist Hospital,
Alexandria, Sunday following a month's illness, were held at the New Hope
Church Monday with the Rev. C. M. Robinson officiating.  Burial was under the
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

The deceased was a native of Jackson Parish but had made her home in Winnfield
for many years.

She is survived by her father, W. D. Conn, Winnfield; one brother, C. R. Conn,
Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Erie Austin and Mrs. Essie Hand, Winnfield; and
Mrs. Carrie Allen, Winnsboro.
