O. Connor Dies; Interment At Bethlehem Morris O. "Runt" Connor, 56, of Route 3, Winnfield, died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, January 9, 1972, in Winnfield General Hospital after a long illness. A native of Winnfield, he was an automobile mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Connor of Winnfield; two sons, Billy M. Connor of Winnfield and Johnny O. Connor of Lake Charles; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Porter of Shreveport, Mrs. Martha Humphries of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Beth Pittman of Monroe, Miss Denise Connor and Miss Janice Connor, both of Winnfield; his father, A. B. Connor, Sr., of Winnfield; one brohter, Rev. A. Connor, Jr., of Urania; three sisters, Mrs. Doris Buillion of Alexandria, Mrs. Earleen Harrell of Winnfield, and Mrs. Betty Desadier of Clarence; 15 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Southern with Rev. W. F. Harrell officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers included D. M. Howell, Jr., Fred Chandler, Lyndel Stanfill, Jesse Bridges, Johnny Waters, Hilton Bolton.
