James Coody, 6, Succumbs After Long Illness

James E. Coody, 6, died Wednesday, November 26, 1969, in a Shreveport hospital
after a long illness.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Coody of Montgomery; one
brother, Terry Riddle of Montgomery; three sisters, Linda Sue Potts of Saline,
Carol Ann Sovell of Montgomery and Dedrea Diane Coody of Montgomery; his
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Dryden of Chestnut, and his paternal
grandmother, Mrs. Ed Coody of Saline.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Goldonna Assembly of God
Church with Rev. A. S. Davis officiating.  Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
