Cooper of Dry Prong died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frances Wallett, in Selma, last Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Mrs. Cooper was 64 years old at the time of her death and was on a visit to her daughter when she was taken fatally ill. She was an old resident of Pollock to which place the remains were taken for burial Monday. Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband, James Cooper, four daughters, Mrs. H. T. Willis of Winnfield, Mrs. Nellie Trusty, Bay City, Oregon, Mrs. Rhonda Guynes, Dry Prong, and Mrs. Frances Wallett, Selma, one son, Maarshall Cooper of Anacoco. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, of which she had been a faithful and consecrated member since early girlhood. Those attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Wilis and children, Marshal W. H. Peters, and C. E. Tannehill.
