Cooper, 64, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Postell, in Laurel Heights, was buried at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Funeral services were conducted at the Assembly of God Church in Laurel Heights by Rev. C. Robinson, pastor, and arrangements were under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mrs. Cooper was born in Winn Parish June 1, 1883, and has resided here the major part of her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Laurel Heights. Surviving are her three sons, W. T. Cooper of Grayson, La.; James Cooper of Mandeville, La.; and Johnnie Cooper of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. W. D. Cockerham, Oak Grove, Mrs. Martha Postell, Winnfield, and Mrs. B. A. Lewis, Bentley; three brothers, Thomas Roberts, Alexandria, G. H. Roberts, Winnfield, and A. C. Roberts, Bauxite, Ark., and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Cockerham, Winnfield, and Mrs. Nancy Parker, Magnolia, Ark. Pallbearers were Benny I. Roberts, Daton Roberts, Alic Roberts, and Thomas Roberts.
