Mrs. A. L. Corbett Funeral Set For Thurs., May 29

Mrs. Maurene Jackson Corbett, age 48, died in the local hospital at 2 a.m.
Wednesday, May 28, 1975, after a lengthy illness.  She was a native of the
Hargis Community and had resided in Winnfield for many years.

Mrs. Corbett was a member of the First Baptist Church and of the Lamp Lighters
Sunday School Class.

The remains will lie in state at Hixson's Funeral Home, Winnfield, until time
for the funeral services scheduled to be held at 2 p.m, Thursday at the First
Baptist Church.  Officiating will be the Rev. Calvin Phelps and the Rev.
Charles Tom Smith.  

Burial will be in the Garden of Memories under direction of Hixson.

Surviving are her husband, Arnold L. Corbett, and one son, Steven Arnold
Corbett, of Winnfield; her mother, Mrs. Vivian Jackson and one brother, Marvin
Jackson, both of Route One, Montgomery.
