Brother of Local Residents Dies; Burial Thursday

Funeral services for James Lee Corley, 63, of Clarks, were held at 10 a.m.
Thursday in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia, with the
Revs. Kenneth Boyd and J. D. Enterkin 
officiating.

Burial was in Squires Cemetery near Summerville.

Mr. Corley died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 27, 1966 at the residence of
his son, Joe M. Corley of Columbia.

Other survivors include two sons, James O. Corley, Coushatta, and Ellis E.
Corley, Summerville; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Coker, Harrisonburg; two
brothers, Bill Corley and Charlie Corley, both of Winnfield; a sister, Mrs.
Pearl Jackson, Winnfield; 26 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Enock Poole, Bennie Poole, Nathan Poole, Lloyd Poole, Dannie
Blake, and Thurmond Roark.
