Funeral Services Set For Mrs. N. J. Cornelius
   Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the 
Weiland Funeral Chapel, 2909 Live Oak, for Mrs. Nancy Jane 
Cornelius, 77, who died Tuesday night at a local hospital.  
The Rev. William C. Jones, pastor of the Central Christian 
Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Trees Cemetery 
near Cedar Hill.
   Mrs. Cornelius was born in Winn Parish, La., in 1868, the 
daughter of Capt. And Mrs. A. P. Kennon.  She came to Texas 
with her parents in early childhood and settled at Cedar 
Hill.  She was married to A. L. Cornelius in Abilene in 
1890.  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl Mangold, 
Audelia Road and Mockingbird Lane, with whom she lived, and 
two grandsons, S-Sgt. Edward A. Mueller and Edward Cornelius 
Pollard.
   Pallbearers will be Reuby Merritt, Joe Wilson, Frank 
Roberts, Edward C. Pollard, S-Sgt. Edward A. Mueller and 
Raymond Castleman.
