Mrs. Cosby was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Winnfield, and a native of Johnson City, Illinois. Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the First Presbyterian Church of Winnfield with Rev. W. R. Gage officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors include two sons, Roy H. Cosby, Jr. of College Park, Md., and David E. Cosby of Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Iva Sander of Metropolis, Ill., Mrs. Doris Houp and Mrs. Earl Applewhite, both of Winnfield; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Kraft, J. R. Harrison, E. J. Buchanan, Woodrow Gough, Harper Terrill, Edward Powell, and P. K. Smith.
