Mrs. Luther Couch Succumbs; Buried In Guin Cemetery

Mrs. Nettie Couch, 72, died at her residence on Star Route, Tullos, Winn
Parish, Sunday, June 14, 1964, after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, Luther Couch of Star Route, Tullos; four sons,
James L. Couch of South Carolina, Cecil Couch of Star Route Tullos, J. E.
Couch and Lewis H. Couch, both of Bastrop; one daughter, Mrs. Joel Strange,
Star Route, Tullos; two brothers, J. J. Lewis of Oak Grove, La., and Luther
Lewis of Enterprise, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Strange and Miss Lizzie Lewis
of Star Route, Tullos; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, in the Lewis Chapel
Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Frank Lankford officiating.

Burial was in the Guin Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
