Negro Dies Of Injuries In Truck Accident

A Montgomery Negro, Nolan Coutee, died this week in a local hospital from
injuries received in a truck accident south of Atlanta last Saturday morning.

Two other Montgomery Negroes, unidentified, were injured in the accident. 
Their injuries were not serious.

The accident occurred in Grant Parish, near the Cardozier place on the
Montgomery-Atlanta road.  The three men were in a log truck traveling toward
Montgomery when the truck apparently went out of control and crashed into a
culvert.

Officers from Grant Parish investigated the wreck.
