      (Died January 20, 2008) 
      Southern Funeral Home - Jonesboro 
      Marvin Carl Cox, age 61 of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 
      in Jonesboro. 
      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2008 in the 
      Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, La. with Revs. Glen Nash and 
      Jerry Smelly officiating. Burial will be in the Hodge Cemetery under the 
      direction of Southern Funeral Home. 
      Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Cox and mother, Jewel 
      (Shively) Cox; and Lorri Anne Cox. 
      He is survived by his wife, Linda (Hattaway)Cox of Jonesboro, La.; Son, 
      Joseph Carl Cox and wife Autumn of Lawton, Oklahoma; Daughter, Katina 
      Gayle (Cox) Flynn and husband Timothy of Grapeland, Texas; Sister, Joyce 
      Harvey and husband Earl of Quitman, La.; 6 grandchildren, Heather Cox, 
      Meagan Flynn, Faith Flynn, Avalon Cox, Lorie Cox, and Josephian Cox; a 
      host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 
      Jimmie Hicks, Wayne Triplett, Wayne Nash, Hayword Hataway, Ronald 
      Phillips, and Keith Dill will serve as pallbearers.
