A native of Oklahoma, he had been a resident of Winnfield for 20 years. Final rites were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R. W. Gage officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories under direction of Southern. He is survived by his wife of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Elmo Townsend of Pryor, Okla., Mrs. Steve Farris and Miss Lorena Cox, both of Madill, Okla.
