David D. Cox, 82, Native of Winn, Died March 3

David Duncan Cox, better known as Dee Cox, died at his home on Star Route,
Tullos, March 3.  Funeral services were conducted March 4 at the Pleasant Hill
Baptist Church, with Rev. George Miller of Tullos officiating.  Burial was in
the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Born April 10, 1870, in Ward Nine, Mr. Cox spent his entire life in Winn
Parish, where he farmed.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mr. Cox is survived by one daughter, Mrs.Willmoth Taylor of Star Route,
Tullos.
