Funeral Rites For E. L. Cox Held At Beulah

E. L. Cox, 75, of Tullos, died Wednesday, September 25, 1974, in the Hardtner
Medical Center in Urania after a brief illness.

He was a retired employee of Urania Creosote Plant.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Cox of Tullos; four sons, Sherman Cox
of Shreveport, Harold Cox of Jena, Wayne Cox of Grayson, and J. W. Cox
of Missouri; one brother, Frank Cox of Ida; one sister, Mrs. Florence
Sanders of California; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Beulah Baptist Church, near
Tullos, with Rev. Joe Smith officiating.  Burial was in the Georgetown
Cemetery.
