Frank Cox

Frank M. Cox of Ida died at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 1978 in Schumpert
Medical Center after a brief illness.

Services were at 11 a.m. Friday at First Methodist Church in Winnfield
with the Rev. Grayson Watson officiating.  Burial was in Allen
Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

A native of Winn Parish and a graduate of Louisiana Tech School of
Engineering, Mr. Cox was a retired businessman.  He owned and operated
Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Plain Dealing until he sold it in 1976.  He
was a member of the United Methodist Church in Plain Dealing.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Allen Cox; one son, Dewey Allen of Karnack,
Texas, and one sister, Florence Sanders of Hay Fork, Calif.
