Cox Dies; Interment At Guin Cemetery Iley D. Cox, 73, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 1970, at his residence in Winnfield. He was retired logging contractor. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Cox of Winnfield; two sons, Clarence Cox of San Antonio, Texas and James Cox of Dodson; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Dubois of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Ophelia Hotter of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Frances Primrose of Pearland, Texas; two brothers, Elisha Cox of Tullos and Frank Cox of Ida; two sisters, Mrs. Ika Strickland of Columbia and Mrs. Florence Sanders of California; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Willie James, Rev. Billy Smithart, and Eugene F. Love officiating. Burial was in Guin Cemetery.
