Funeral Services For T. W. Cox, 70, Held Saturday

Father of Frank Cox, Local Manager, Pineville Gas Co.

Funeral services for T. W. Cox, age 70, were held last Saturday afternoon at
three o'clock at the Guin Cemetery near Curry, with the Rev. J. H. Lewis,
assisted by Rev. J. M. Doughty of Tullos officiating.  Mr. Cox, who had been
in failing health for the past three or four years, had been confined to his
bed for more than three months at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lee Sanders,
at Tullos, where he succumbed on Friday afternoon.

Mr. Cox was a native of Winn Parish and was a member of the Methodist Church. 
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Cox, of Rochelle, two daughters, Mrs.
Ida Strickland, Dubberly, Mrs. Lee Sanders, Tullos; three sons, E. L. Cox,
Rochelle, Iley Cox, Curry, and Frank Cox, local manager of the Pineville
Gas Co. of Winnfield; one brother, D. Cox of Curry.
