William Thomas Cox Buried At Mt. Zion December 7th

Funeral services were held Friday, December 7th at two thirty p.m. for William
Thomas Cox, 80 year old retired farmer of Montgomery, who died at his home
December 6th.

Mrs. Lula Wardlow conducted last rites for the deceased at the Mt. Zion Church
and interment followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home in charge of the burial.

The deceased had been a resident of Montgomery for the past sixty years.  He
is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leona (Leanna Plunkett) Cox; one son, Henry Cox;
two daughters, Mrs. Annie Morrell and Mrs. Jack Lambert of Montgomery; one
brother, N. M. Cox of Shreveport, and a sister, Mrs. M. Bascus of Shreveport.
