Last Rites Held For J. D. Cox At Guin Cemetery

Funeral services for J. D. Cox, 74, who died at his home in the Beech Creek
Community Wednesday, August 1, were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Guin
Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.  The Rev. Aaron Gorham and
Rev. E. B. Barton officiated.

Survivors are four sons, Chester cox, Winnfield, James L., of Lubbock, Texas,
J. C. and J. W. of Tullos; four daughters, Mrs. W. P. Hallmark, Winnfield,
Mrs. Ray Butler, Gibsland, Mrs. Bessie Couch, Tullos, and Mrs. Annie Butler,
Taylor, La.; 34 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
