Crain, 88, Dies; Rites At Fellowship Isaac Duncan Crain, 88, of Sikes, died at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 1971, in a Winnfield hospital following a long illness. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for 70 years, taught Sunday School for 61 years and served as Deacon of the church for 50 years. Survivors include a son, Marvin Crain of Oak Park, Ill.; five daughters, Mrs. Merdie Rowell and Mrs. Claudia Hartsfield both of Shreveport, Mrs. Nola Adams of Chalmette, Mrs. Lavelle Tennison of Henderson, Tex., and Mrs. Gertrude Scroggins of Sikes, one brother, Albert Crain of Dodson, two sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Womack of Dodson, Mrs. Naomi Adams of Monroe, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fellowship Baptist Church at Sikes with Rev. Homer Ivy, assisted by Rev. Clyde Parker and Rev. C. S. Martin of Jonesboro, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jerry Scroggins, Devane Scroggins, Jim Tennison, Kendrick Hartsfield, Jerry McManus, and Tommy Underwood.
