C. C. Martin, pastor of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Crain, a native of Gaars Mill, died Friday in Joplin, Mo., after a long illness. In addition to his widow, Mrs. Gladys Russell Crain, he is survived by four brothers, C. H. Crain of Winnfield, B. M. Crain of Atlanta, Ga., John M. Crain and Lamar Crain, both of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. S. H. Gaar of Dodson, and Mrs. P. T. Dark, Mrs. J. D. Ingouf, and Mrs. A. M. Tyler, all of Shreveport. Nephews acted as pallbearers: Paul Vayne Gaar, Dudley and George Crain, Willie Verne Dark, Darwin and Glen Crain.
