Former Winn Teacher Dies In Zachary

Mrs. Ella Lucas Crain, 86, of Baker, La., a graduate of Louisiana Tech and a
former teacher in the Winn Parish school system, died December 23, 1976 at
10:25 a.m. at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, La.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and of the Eastern Star.

Religious services for Mrs. Crain, a native of Texas, were held on December
25 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel at 3 p.m. with burial in the church
cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, mrs. J. O. Claudel of Baker and one
granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Claudel of Baker.
